Middle Shell
The middle section is sealed with an O-ring seal, and they are bolted together on the outside of the middle section.
The inlet section and the outlet section are usually supported by feet. When the conveying liquid temperature t>150 ℃, the pump above SMC80 adopts the central support. When t>110 ℃, SMC150 above specifications of the pump using the center support.
Position of inlet and outlet pipes
Typically the outlet tube is oriented upwards and the inlet tube is oriented to the right (as viewed from the drive end). The position of the inlet and outlet pipes can be exchanged at will and allows the housing. The liquid outlet pipe for other purposes is arranged on.
Hydraulic model and axial force balance
Each specification has two different sets of impeller/guide vanes (hydraulic model), so the high efficiency area is large. The replaceable mouth ring plays a sealing role between the impeller and the casing. The axial force generated by each stage of the impeller is balanced by the hydraulic balance device. If the balance drum device is used to balance the axial force, the residual axial force is borne by the bearing.
Bearing and Lubrication
When the pump adopts the balance disc structure, the bearing shall be lubricated with grease (thin oil lubrication shall be adopted for the specifications above SMC150). When the pump adopts the balance drum structure, the bearing is lubricated with thin oil.
shaft seal
Under normal circumstances, the use of packing seal, mechanical seal is limited to the balance drum structure, and must use a balanced mechanical seal.
After the liquid at the outlet end is balanced by the balance disc or the balance drum, the pressure is reduced, and the shaft seal only bears the inlet pressure.
When the shaft seal is flushed with sealing fluid, if the temperature of sealing fluid exceeds 110 ℃, the packing gland shall be cooled. If the temperature of sealing fluid exceeds 130 ℃, the packing box shall be cooled.
Flange, drive orientation, direction of rotation
Usually flanges are manufactured according to DIN and GB standards. It can also be manufactured in accordance with ANSI standards.
The pump is driven at the suction end.
The pump rotates clockwise when viewed from the drive end.
