(1) The flow direction of water along the centrifugal pump is the axial suction along the impeller, perpendicular to the axial flow out, that is, in and out of the direction of the water into 90 degrees.
(2) Because the centrifugal pump forms a vacuum suction by the inlet of the impeller, so before starting, it must be injected into the pump and the suction pipe, or pumped with a vacuum pump, in order to discharge the air to form a vacuum, and the pump shell and suction pipe must be strictly sealed, no air leakage, otherwise no vacuum, it will not suck water.
(3) Because the inlet of the impeller can not form an absolute vacuum, so the suction height of the centrifugal pump can not exceed 10 meters, and the water through the suction pipe caused by the loss along the actual allowable installation height (the height of the pump axis from the suction water) is far less than 10 meters. If the installation is too high, it will not absorb water; In addition, because the mountain area is lower than the plain atmospheric pressure, so the same pump in the mountain area, especially in the high mountain installation, the installation height should be reduced, otherwise it can not suck water.
